“Hunting season is on the way here in northern Wisconsin, so we destroyed 10 hunting towers to kick things off!  We find that when we attack under the blanket of night with masks on we get a lot more done than we ever could standing on the sidewalk with signs. We don?t expect our small destructive acts to destroy speciesism, but striking directly at those who murder our non-human relatives feels meaningful, and is fucking fun!  We know waiting for?the movement? to grow is a trap ? waiting promotes waiting and acting promotes acting.  All there is to do is to sharpen our teeth and get better at attacking domination!  In solidarity with the deer, turkeys, bears, pheasants and all the animals resisting human supremacy and civilization.

On September 17, a rodeo ring in La Ligua (Valparaíso) was heavily damaged by fire. According to media reports, leaflets were found at the site, including one that said, “See how your tradition burns. Justice for animals” It was the third attack this month against Chilean rodeo.

In the early hours of September 14, a rodeo ring in Paredones (O’Higgins) was set on fire.

Early on September 7, a rodeo ring in Curacaví was damaged by fire. Firefighters found leaflets against the rodeo at the site.

“On the night of Thursday, September 12, 2019, in the Paris region, we, animalist activists, destroyed a hunting tower and tagged on the ground “stop speciesism”.

The hunting towers are not directly visible by satellite images (google maps), so we spotted it by walking around fields near the edge of a wood. We then used the satellite images to verify that the spotted tower was at least 100 meters away from the surrounding dwellings, as destroying a tower makes noise and takes time.

Photo traps are sometimes placed in the trees by the hunters, so we looked for the tower and acted with masked faces.

We attacked the tower with saws with big teeth sawing at strategic locations and then finished the job by twisting the pieces to make them break.

In order to make this sabotage visible as a political act in favor of the victims of speciesism, a message “Stop Speciesism” was left on the ground with a spray can.

We wish by this report to invite all those who know that killing other animals is not a necessary act, to train themselves and take action, for the victims of speciesism.

“Dans la nuit du Jeudi 12 septembre 2019, en région parisienne, nous, activistes animalistes, avons détruit une tour de chasse et tagué sur le sol “stop spécisme”.

Les tours de chasse ne sont pas directement visibles par images satellites (google maps), nous avons donc repéré celle-ci en en nous baladant proches de champs, à la lisière d’un bois. Nous avons ensuite utilisé les images satellites pour vérifier que la tour repérée était bien à une distance d’au moins 100 mètres des habitations environnantes, car détruire une tour fait du bruit et prend du temps.

Des pièges photo étant parfois disposés dans les arbres par les chasseur.euse.s, nous avons repérer la tour et agit à visage masqué.

Nous avons attaqué la tour avec des scies à grosses dents en sciant à des endroits stratégiques puis nous avons fini le travail en tordant les pièces pour qu’elles cèdent.

Afin de visibiliser ce sabotage comme un acte politique en faveur des victimes du spécisme, un message “stop spécisme” a été laissé sur le sol à la bombe de peinture.

Nous souhaitons par ce communiqué inviter tou.te.s celles et ceux qui savent que tuer les autres animaux n’est pas un acte nécessaire, à se former et à agir concrètement, pour les victimes du spécisme.

All 4 wheels pricked and destroyed windshield with some bricks we found there.

“After visiting this farm a couple of times during the day to check for activity we visited the place one night and rescued two baby female goats.

After 15 minutes of walking through the night, we reached the car with the other member waiting ready and we left.

These goats will live out their lives naturally and peacefully, free from human exploitation.”

“During the night of the 11th and 12th December, in France, we, Animal Liberation Front activists, helped what we think to be hundreds of pheasants to escape from their prison.

Using cutters, we cut a large part of the net preventing them from flying away. Then we went in the end of the cage to incite them to escape through the opening we made. Seeing them disappear in the sky has touched us deeply.

We also wrote a tag to leave a mark of our passage.

We wish all of them will live happily and freely, and have a thought for all the other animals still prisoners.

Until every cage is empty.

Dans la nuit du 11 au 12 septembre, en France, nous, activistes du front de libération des animaux, avons aidé des centaines de faisan.e.s à s’échapper de leur prison.

A l’aide de cutters, nous avons découpé une large partie du filet qui les empêchait de s’envoler, puis nous sommes allé.e.s derrière elleux pour les inciter à fuir. Les voir s’échapper dans le ciel nous a profondément touché.e.s.
