“There are nine of us hiding in the night, lying in wait. Our objective is crystal clear: we must get someone out of those cages—no matter what. On the way to the site (a farm for egg laying hens) we coordinate our roles; each person is vital and essential to achieving this act of animal liberation tonight.
We arrive in the dead of night, the lights in the sheds still on. As we finish cutting through the wire fencing, the lights go out. ‘GO! THIS IS OUR CHANCE!’ We wait a few moments, then slip inside—and there they are, terrified, surrounded by their own excrement and rats.
We begin opening the cages. The cool night air, the tall grass, and our dark clothing helped us reach them. We fill our bags and ensure the area is clear for our exit. Our companions are waiting by the fence, others in the cars; we load them up and leave, looking back at all those we couldn’t rescue today; but perhaps we will tomorrow, because this doesn’t end here.
This is a war against speciesism, a fight to liberate the slaves of an exploitative, murderous system.
Against all odds, and against all authority.
There is no veganism without animal liberation.
We dedicate this action to Nico Rucio (Susaron case); an anti-speciesist, anarcho-nihilist, straight-edge prisoner held within the territory occupied by the oppressive Chilean state.

“Somos 9 personas merodeando en la noche, al acecho. Tenemos bien en claro el objetivo, sacar a alguien de las jaulas si o si, camino al lugar (una granja de gallinas ponedoras) nos ponemos de acuerdo en nuestros roles, cada unx es importante y fundamental para lograr esta noche la liberación animal.
Llegamos en plena madrugada y las luces de las naves estan prendidas, terminamos de cortar el alambre y se apagan, “VAMOS, ES NUESTRA OPORTUNIDAD” esperamos unos minutos y ya estamos adentro y ahí están ellas, temerosas y acompañadas por sus heces y las ratas.
Comenzamos a abrir las jaulas, la noche fresca, la hierva alta y nuestra ropa oscura nos ayudó a llegar hoy hasta ellas, llenamos los bolsos y nos aseguramos de que la zona sea segura para salir, nuestrxs companerxs nos esperan en el alambrado, otrxs dentro de los autos, las cargamos y nos vamos mirando atrás a todas esas que no pudimos sacar hoy, pero tal vez si mañana, porque esto no termina hoy.
Esta es una guerra contra el especismo, es liberar a lxs esclavxs de un sistema explotador y asesino.
Contra todo pronóstico y contra toda autoridad.
No hay veganismo sin liberación animal.
