HOW TO ACCESS BUS STOP ADVERTISEMENT SPACES.

ADVERTISEMENT ON THE STREETS; A FUCKING BRAIN LIQUIDISER.

Advertisement shits in your head. It is fucking everywhere, in every corner, in every bus stop, in billboards, in newspapers, in TV, Youtube and the cinema… if they could, they would even print it in toilet paper! “Why does it shit in my head?”, you might ask, and the answer is clear. In this capitalist society, everything is designed to make you consume, to bend your perception towards specific “needs” you should purchase and “dreams” you should chase. Advertisement shits in your head.

Yet here we are, ready to fill your brain bucket with tools to unshit someone else’s brain. This bit of information allows you to do many things. It allows for the marriage of art and subversion, it reclaims spaces that never got consent from society to serve a different purpose, it gives you a chance to say what you want to say instead of having to listen to yet another fucking mind bending advertisement company.

So let’s get to it. What do we need to fuck with advertisements in the city? In many cases a paint bucket, a roller and a very long stick. Billboards tend to be accessible, and big. In other cases, you just need a printer and maybe a template, spending some hours designing new and informative things and printing them to then visit the underground and changing all the adds in the tube. In other cases, like bus stops and city lollipops, you might need a few keys to open those mindless pieces of metal and redesign them into pieces of art. And that is specially the type of brandalism we want to give you tools for.

There is a wonderful website called “Public Access” that tells you the exact tool you need to open the advertisement screens in your city. For the most part, that website is correct, but in some places you might need to do some extra investigation. If you discover mistakes in the website, do email them and let them know! You can get the name off the keys from the website and go steal them from the hardware store, eBay that shit and then complain it never arrived or simply email Public Access to order a set. It is up to you to decide how to acquire them.

Once you have those keys you need to try them out. Sometimes you might need a utility key (easy to find in most hardware stores) to access the side of the screen and be able to open the add glass. We also recommend wearing a HiViz and pretending you are actually a worker for the advert company. Whatever, that should empower you to not fear doing this in daylight.

MORE HUNTING TOWERS DESTROYED.

“At the beginning of August, we, antispeciesist activists, destroyed several hunting towers at night.
When we arrived on the location, we were observing the environment around us when we saw a few meters from us a wild boar with her babies. While this encounter was somewhat scary in the middle of the night, it also gave us even more courage and anger. We had just met the people for whom we had come out of our comfort zone that evening.
We decided to go around them by a good hundred meters so we wouldn’t scare them but also (and above all) because we were afraid, not necessarily knowing how this mother could react when seeing humans coming so close and in the middle of the night, to her little ones.
On the edge of the forest, we saw the two fairly solid wooden hunting towers that we spotted before.
We unbolted some metal pieces that reinforced the structures and then we played with our strength to break as many planks / logs as possible.
We decided to film our action so that it could make others want to do the same!
Because special skills or specific material are not required for such actions, and breaking down the material that helps them kill is strategically relevant, it is important that everyone get started!
Locate the hunting towers around your home, on the edge of the woods overlooking the fields or in the middle of the forest, then go to the location at night for more discretion. Bring down and break down these structures allowing the massacre of families like the one we met that night.
We can’t just feel satisfyed with being against what this system is doing to the other animals. To achieve any change, we must and will act now! And each and every one of us has a role to play even if it is not always pleasant nor comfortable… For them, let’s get out of our comfort zone and use our human privileges for their liberation!”

“Début aout, nous, activistes antispécistes, avons détruit deux tours de chasse de nuit.
Lorsque nous sommes arrivé.e.s sur les lieux, nous commencions à observer l’environnement qui se trouvait autour de nous quand nous avons vu à quelques mètres de nous une laie avec ses petit.e.s. Bien que cette rencontre fut quelque peu effrayante au beau milieu de la nuit, elle nous a également donné encore plus de courage et de rage. Nous venions de rencontrer les personnes pour lesquelles nous étions sorti.e.s de notre zone de confort ce soir là.
Nous avons décidé de les contourner d’une bonne centaine de mètres afin de ne pas les effrayer mais aussi (et surtout) parce que l’on avait peur, ne sachant pas forcément comment cette maman pourrait réagir en voyant des humain.e.s s’approcher si près et en pleine nuit, de ses petit.e.s.
En lisière de forêt, nous vu les deux tours de chasse en bois assez solides que nous avions repérées auparavant.
Nous avons déboulonné quelques pièces en métal qui renforçaient les structures puis nous avons joué de notre force pour casser le maximum de planches / rondins.
Nous avons décidé de filmer notre action afin qu’elle puisse donner envie à d’autres de faire de même !
Parce qu’il ne faut pas de compétences particulères ou de matériel spécifique pour de telles actions, et que casser le matériel qui les aide à tuer est stratégiquement pertinent, il est important que chacun.e s’y mette !
Repérer les tours autour de chez vous, en lisière de bois donnant sur les champs ou en pleine foret, puis rendez-vous sur les lieux de nuit pour plus de discrétion. Faites tomber et cassez ces structures permettant massacre de familles telles que celle que nous avons rencontré cette nuit.
Nous ne pouvons pas juste nous contenter d’être contre ce que ce système inflige aux autres animaux. Pour obtenir un quelconque changement, nous devrons et devons dès maintenant agir concrêtement ! Et chacun et chacune de nous à un rôle à jouer même si celui-ci n’est pas toujours agréable ni confortable… Pour elles et eux, sortons de notre zone de confort et utilisons nos privilèges humains pour leur libération !”

MORE FARMS SPRAYPAINTED IN FRANCE
