During the last weeks we have been working hard in Hambi, building a treehouse in memory of Waka and getting used to a forest really hurt after the big eviction. Two ground evictions were endured before the holidays with RWE and the cops showing incredibly disproportionate violence and destroying people’s homes.
During the holidays, multiple actions took place around the mine. The Spiegel reported two security cars set on fire after a rain of Moldova cocktails fell into the secu point. Must be climate change.
A report on Indymedia also popped up claiming responsibility for the arson of a pumping station that drains the forest of much needed water and signed “Hambi Chaos Christmas”.
Yesterday, NRW police announced a raid in the Meadow (legal protest camp next to the woods) and in the WAA, a house that has served as a base for hambis outside of the forest, 45 minutes away from Hambacher. They justified the raid as a search of dangerous tools and materials that could be used for future actions. HambiEA (the legal team for the forest) was stolen of their phones during the WAA raid, ensuring that any ambi arrested during the police action would not be able to let the legal team know. In the Meadow, in an attempt to evict three people from a small hut, the police emptied almost 8 litres of pepper spray in the 6sqm holding to later arrest the three folk living inside.
Meanwhile, the forest was also under attack. RWE workers protected by cops smashed windows, fire places and communal areas. Our sleeping space was once again destroyed. Whilst we were attempting to move some of our belongings and materials to hide them deep in the woods, a team of eight cops tackled us to the ground and arrested us.
They managed to destroy our harnesses using nail planks and stepping over them, they took our material and clothes and they threatened us with lengthier arrest and possible imprisonment if we did not give our personal details. Through the threats, we did not give in and kept ourselves anonymous. After a few hours we were released with a ban on Hambacher Forst for “the next 24 hours”.
We are back building today.
They only make us stronger.
They only make us angrier.

“Västmanlands länsstyrelse (Västmanlands county administrative) have allowed hunting on two lynx next spring. There are very few lynx left in Sweden,
this only got allowed because of the amount of hunters that are politicians/manipulate politicians.
We glued 4 locks and covered one of the entrances with red paint.
We will attack them plenty of more times unless they change their minds.

“Tuesday, November 27, the day before the start of the course ‘introduction to research on genetically modified animals’ that took place at the official veterinary school in Madrid, the door of the building was glued, the facade and ground were painted, and posters against genetic research were pasted.
The State has been promoting these courses and this type of research for years where animals are tortured with the aim of applying these results to human life, thus being able to control all aspects of our life and the environment.
It is necessary to know the types of projects that are being promoted in order to confront the techno-scientific advance.

DEATH TO THE STATE AND LONG LIVE ANARCHY”

“As was already announced, the first coordinated statement from the ALF/ELF in Temuco, $hile. December 11, 2018, exactly 5 years since the death of Sebastián Oversluij in combat. This coordination is a minimal tribute to his memory.
On the night of December 11 our hearts and minds turned to another anniversary of the death in combat of our comrade ‘Angry’ as he was preparing to carry out a bank expropriation in the outskirts of Santiago. We still have the images of that morning recorded in our minds as well as the strange circumstances in which the assault itself took place.
We will not forget, but we do not want to just remember, we want to leave our mark wherever we go. And on this 11th we started a new journey.
We claim this propaganda and these actions in memory of compañero Sebastián Oversluij: Posters glued at rural bus stops. We hung a banner which read ‘ANIMAL LIBERATION “ANGRY” IS HERE’ in a base transceiver station (BTS) that destroys biodiversity. We tore signs for a Club de Huasos that was preparing to hold a shitty ‘juegos criollos’ day. We destroyed pine trees which cause droughts in the habitat where we were, thanks to a forestry company in the area. Finally we claim the theft of wood that was carried out some time ago which we will use for individualistic purposes.
It is necessary to express how difficult it is for us to try to make changes to the way that people see Animal Liberation. The radical problem is that in this region (as in others in the south) it is common to steal animals for commercial purposes, and kill them to eat, and mistreating others is their daily bread. People follow the logic that ‘if an animal is not useful, what is it for?’ The animals are killed without any kind of remorse; the life of cows, lambs, horses, cats and dogs, among others, end as if they were nothing.
We are anarchists and vegans, but with respect to the last thing we are not interested in only a change in eating, we want to go for more. Although it is difficult, as we said before, our propaganda will reach people and communities, and the actions of harassment will cause –at least– terror to the executioners and exploiters of animals. It is the least we can do for those who live a daily life of death.
In the memory of the Anarchist Warrior/Expropriator/ Vegan Sebastián Oversluij, we will continue contributing and advancing in spite of what it will cost us because although the road is uphill, we are always thinking about our brave compañero Angry.
We send greetings to the Liberating Warrior/Expropriator/ Vegan Marcelo Villarroel who is serving his sentence in the High Security Prison in Santiago, the words he regularly shares fuel the fire that we carry within us.
For the spread of ALF/ELF cells!
For memory as a weapon!
Sebastián Oversluij, present!
Prisoners of the Social War, to the street!

“The website of Syntex, one of the largest producers of pregnant mare serum gonadotropin (PMSG), was hacked and information about thousands of its customers leaked.
PMSG (also known as eCG, equine chorionic gonadotropin) is a hormone extracted from the blood of pregnant horses. The hormone is sold to pharmaceutical companies who manufacture PMSG-based drugs for the animal agriculture industry.
Thousands of horses suffer on “blood farms” operated by Syntex in Argentina and Uruguay.”
