BABY CHICK TAKEN FROM A FREE RANGE FARM.

29th November, South East UK.

“It’s dark and rainy and we’ve visited about seven farms trying to find out some important information. Sadly, all the work accounts to nothing as we have not managed to find what we needed. We approach the last farm knowing it isn’t what we are looking for, but we feel like we should have a look anyway.

Over the electric fence and into what people think free range farms look like. This is top of the top, orchard planted free range chicken egg farm. We’ve seen them before. The kind of farm that helps the middle class feel better about their animal abuse.

We peek inside one of the sheds and realise that there are chicks inside. When opening the door one of them decides to come out. She is a master escapee. We look around, amongst the dead birds and cover our nose to avoid smelling the intense ammonia. If only the grass-fed, free-range enlightened middle class could smell this. It isn’t what we are looking for, se we go back to the door. That same chicken insists on getting out once again, so we oblige. We are not prepared to home multiple chickens, but she is adamant and wants to leave, so we stick her under the armpit and walk away with her.

She’s inquisitive, she adapts to every challenge and, unsurprisingly, she is unwilling to be contained, so she has become a house chicken. No pen will stop her. She is one of many animals who broke free and decided their fait.

This was not a raid, but a mere show of camaraderie and accompliceship. She wanted out, we gave her a ride.

December has started and there is a month to finish the year. We hope you all are preparing huge hits for the holiday season.

Swiss ALF and comrades, SHOW US WHAT YOU’VE GOT!”

OPEN RESCUE OF 35 HENS.

October 2019, Czech Republic.

Via: http://michalkolesar.net/?p=5955

“Here I am again opening cages inside this madhouse for at least a thousand time. I pull chickens out and try to keep their wings close to their body. Some of them remain calm, some are terrified and I don’t blame them. Born in hatchery, called for mom and she wasn’t there. Just hands of a man that separated them to different boxes, to be killed or live in hell.

After all this they experienced the transport with thousands of others. Caged since they were just a little chicks and now they have been brought into this factory and that’s their life. Never had a family. Don’t know what it feels like when the sun warms the skin, wind blows on feathers or when the fog falls down. They don’t know what clay, grass or morning dew is. Just the cages, darkness, artificial light, ventilation. In short, all they experienced was just the industrial care.

Then we come into their darkness and torment with our flashlights and we are taking them away. We have a safe home for 35 hens today and they don’t know where they are going. But when it’s done and I see them looking around and chatting with each other in a better world, sometimes I even smile.

Have a good time, my sisters.”

FOUR TURKEYS LIBERATED FROM FARM.

28 November, South East UK.

Received anonymously via email:

“In the dark of night, we ran away with 4 Turkeys, they were quiet and still throughout, aiding us in being unnoticed. We found that 70% of the turkeys had already been killed since our last visit, and the one’s left were terrified of us. It was only after we left that we realized how mutilated their beaks were. Leaving so many behind is heartbreaking, but there is some comfort in knowing there are survivors.

Christmas is fast approaching, and so is the death of so many more innocent lives. In the next few weeks millions of turkeys will be killed, having been bred over the last few months for this tradition. Whilst everyone is celebrating the birth of a fictional character and consumerism, outside of their view these turkeys are kept crowded together in sheds. Their death will be merciless and pointless.

All of ALF it’s time to do what you do best SHOW US WHAT YOU’VE GOT!”

FREE RANGE TURKEY FARM RAIDED.

 27th November, East midlands UK.

received anonymously via email:

“With the mass slaughter of turkeys getting closer and closer we went to check out a free range farm to liberate a few beautiful birds before the farmer could kill them.

We sat, listened and watched from the shadows for a while to check the farmer had gone to bed, then headed over to the barn. One turkey after another was helped out of the barn and over the fence to freedom. Once our arms were full we quickly made our way back to the vehicle and onwards to their forever homes.

Fuck speciesism, take action. Until all are free.”

5 HENS LIBERATED FROM FREE RANGE FARM

20th November, Sussex, UK

Received anonymously via email:

“In the dark of night on the 20th of November we waited in the shadows until the coast was clear. After an hour hidden in the trees we were finally able to climb into the facility. The smell and horror of this place is more shocking every time we come back. We have visited this disgusting farm for a while now, discovering more and more suffering and lies each time. But finally this time we were able to leave with some of the victims of the egg industry. 5 hens will never have to live in a system that sees them as property, as a machine that makes eggs, in a welfarist lie. Free range means nothing to those poor hens.

They are now going to have the space to be happy and be free from slavery.

Until all are free!”

OPEN RESCUE OF MOTHER AND BABY RABBITS

October, Czech Republic.

report from michalkolesar.net

“Rescue Action LII (October 2019) & Support Marius (Marie) Mason

We broke in a factory farm where rabbits are caged in dark place just to breed more and more bunnies until they reach the sufficient weight to be slaughtered. From that cage we took rabbit mom and 10 little white tufts with legs. I asked our rescuing partner, girl who calls herself ‘Bird’ to write a few sentences about things she saw and how she experienced them. (MK)

I was glad for the opportunity to visit this place with Lukas in day time. When we arrived to rescue them impenetrable darkness was all around. This whole place consisted mainly of dense forests and overgrown meadows. After the last rescue actions and my very close encounters with wild boars I felt very uncomfortable in the middle of nowhere.

The watchers went to their places and Michal and Lukas headed to the window through which they planned to get inside. It was not necessary to have more people inside, so only Lukas entered, Michal guarded him and waited by the window with prepared crates for the fastest transportation of animals, just in case of trouble.

As Luke entered the factory farm we heard extremely loud noise. The bumps to the cage bars completely filled the silence for a moment. Terrified rabbit moms that are locked in one cage for their whole life, raped repeatedly, forced to giving birth to more and more bunnies were madly jumping and hitting the walls of their metal prison because of their fear when they saw a man.. From this utterly unimaginable horror, we took the mother and all her cubs.

I transported them to their safe home with Michal. We carried a crate with a huge stressed rabbit mom and another crate with the rest of the bunnies that didn’t fit in the crate with her. The little ones were calm and most of them slept through whole action.

They had a lair prepared in their new home. A few courageous went clumsily to explore a new world for the first time where no cage bars were to stop them. The rest of them just climbed over to their mum and slept on. They were so tiny! About 2 weeks old hairy balls.. The rabbit mom was brave.. she was still very scared, but she wasn’t breathing so hard anymore. I wanted to take her in my arms to make her feel safe. But it was too early. She was barely a few hours out of hell where she was forced to live and serve people. Maybe she was afraid that man would steal her children again as it happened so many times before. We petted her and then let her sleep so she could wake up to the better part of her life. I am so happy she finally has a chance to live in a nice place with her children and that they can grow up by her side.

Marius (Marie) Mason was arrested in 2008 on charges of the Earth Liberation Front and sentenced to jail for nearly 22 years (262 months). He was accused of two sabotages and refused to report other activists, but eventually confessed to 13 actions (12 x E.L.F. and 1 x A.L.F.). At this time, Marius was still Marie.

Against Mary (Marius) testified even her husband Frank Ambrose, who was a paid FBI snitch”

FIVE TURKEYS LIBERATED FROM FREE RANGE FARM.

16th November, South West UK.

Received anonymously via email:

“In a brief respite from the driving rain, we headed across the fields into the back of one of the multiple barns in a large farming complex. The vast sheds were crammed full of turkeys, each an individual, but with no space to hide or escape their hundreds of kin. Many had bald patches from being pecked by others. Proof of what a total shite lie “free range” is, they had no means to access their designated outside space, which was blocked off and completely overgrown with waist-high nettles. Clearly no non-human or human had been there for a long time.

Automated feeders whirred overhead as we swiftly but carefully grabbed five comrades and carried them on the first steps of their journey to freedom. Now they are safely rehomed, with comfy straw beds and the freedom to roam outside whenever they please. Life will be sweet for them now, but we remember with great sadness all who remain in those barns and in others across the country. It does not matter what is “free range”, no-one should be kept locked away and have their liberty removed, their entire lives a waiting game until they are brutally slaughtered.

15 million turkeys are killed every year in the UK alone, mostly for Christmas dinners. If ever there was an urgent time to take action, it is now.

NEALF, we hear you! Let’s spark a wave of action to end this year with a bang. We’ve seen some banging reports out of Italy recently – we nominate our Italian comrades, what have you got for us?

For total liberation worldwide!

RABBITS FREED FROM A FUR FARM.

 13th November, North East UK.

Received anonymously via encrypted email:

“After seeing a report about a business that breeds rabbits for meat and fur in the UK we decided to find where they are based. T&S Rabbits is very close to home, so we’ve been visiting constantly to learn how they are running operations.

They have multiple pens with ten rabbits each, who run in circles on grass (so much for free-range). They have boxes with mothers and newborns that are very difficult to approach as they are loud and very close to the house of the farmer. They have a single room slaughterhouse with a freezer, a knife and a few hooks. They also have the breeding boxes, where different breed males and females are kept in single boxes and mixed when the farmer wants more pregnant females.

After a few visits, we decided not to wait any longer and take action.

We targeted the breeding infrastructure because we believe it to be the most expensive. The farmer only has one male of each breed in the breeding loop, which we guess means they have selected specifically for their genetic background.

After bagging up very heavy rabbits who do not appreciate being grabbed, we jumped the electric fence and walked by the farmer’s house. Not all the breeding rabbits are gone, but we hope each one of them is a headache to replace by the farmer. As individuals, we’ve had enough time to meet them and they are fantastic, inquisitive and very strong rabbits, we hope their life now is much much happier than before.

Each one of those rabbits would’ve been skinned. Their meat would’ve been sold in high-end restaurants. Their fur would’ve been made into hats, coats, gloves and other vain accessories. FUR FARMING STILL EXISTS IN THE UK.

We want to send our greetings to Matthias and Mirabelle, who managed not to serve more prison time in Switzerland. We see you and we love you, keep up the fight!

Before we go, we want to propose a little game. Let’s end this year with continuous animal liberation actions, from farms being raided to as much economic sabotage as you can imagine. Take action, send a report to BiteBack and nominate another group to spark up.

We are nominating our comrades at SWALF and the mighty Djurrättsmilisien.

 SHOW US WHAT YOU’VE GOT.

NEALF. “
