SOME ANARCHISTS LIBERATE 41 DUCKS FROM A BARN.

“With the moon as our accomplice and determined to take part in a prison break we approached a barn and pulled our tools out. After cutting through the mesh, forcing a window open and climbing through a hole in the wall, tens of thousands of ducklings greeted us with high pitched sounds.

They must’ve been three, maybe four days old. Many, perhaps the lucky ones, were already dead on the floor. 

We gently caught forty birds and put them in carriers, ready for a better life, destined to breaking free. We wrote a message on the wall so that the scum that profits from the torture and murder of ducks is aware that some people are willing to fight back. “One more”, someone said, so forty-one came with us and we walked away having made dozens of new friends. 



As we came out, we thought of Jack and Ita, both having been released from prison not so long ago, and we thought of Ru, Tortu and Panda, who are still locked up in a hellhole in Chile. 



Until we see each other again, we will keep fighting in your name.

Become an accomplice to their prison breaks, become an accessory to the destruction of their oppressors, become a tool for their revenge.

Fight back against the machine that devours us all with the greed of capitalism.

For decades the zionist project has murdered with impunity. SinceOctober 7th, people globally have woken up to the reality of a genocide in Palestine of which the west is not only complicit, but willing to fund and manipulate to its own benefit. Since early October, at least 33,000 people have been murdered in Gaza. 13,000 of those, children.

Whilst demonstrations and boycott campaigns have shown that the people are unwilling to put up with genocide, it is not enough. The west profits from this war. Capitalist enterprises benefit from this war, and when the resistance stands against the murder of Palestinians, like Yemen has done, they will be bombed by the west to “protect trade connections”. We all profit from their murder, and it is on us to put our bodies on the line.

On April 15th, a global network of people will act in affinity and block and attack the economic system that upholds the murder of Palestinians. There are actions organised in every single continent and organising teams have agreed to show solidarity between actions and groups (regardless of the tactics used!0, to not coordinate or communicate with the police and to debrief internally instead of publicly after the action. “A group of activists spray painted “meat is murder” and other messages on a KFC in Denmark.

On the small piece of land they call “Denmark”, where less than 6 million humans live, over a hundred million chickens are enslaved and killed each year. They live miserable lives in factory farms, bred into deformed bodies designed by humans to maximize profit for greedy corporations. Companies like KFC market corpses as being delicious. It’s not delicious. It’s disgusting exploitation, abuse and murder.”

EASTER CELEBRATIONS SEE FIVE LAMBS LIBERATED.

“As the nation celebrated Easter with a bloodbath of violence, roasting and tearing up the bodies of millions of innocent lambs, we fought back and saved the lives of five tiny lambs.

Having checked out the spot already, we crept in the shadows past a farmhouse where the scumbag farmers were watching TV and we entered a massive shed where mothers and babies were penned up. The noises were overwhelming as mothers gave birth and lambs cried out but we knew that these lambs only had weeks or months left to live and we had to act now.

We scooped up five lambs, reassuring the mothers that we were there to help their babies and we would ensure they lived long, joyful lives. We hope that they understood, despite our clear language barriers, and that we were saving them from a short life of misery and pain.

These five lambs will never have to experience the torment of a slaughterhouse. They will never have their bodies torn apart for profits. They will never be exploited ever again.

This action is in solidarity with all of those who lost their lives this Easter, a fucked up celebration of life that results in the murder of so many. We need this to inspire as many people to take action as possible. If not now, then when? If not you, then who?”

SABOTAGING HUNTS: MARCH ROUND UP

For the majority of Fox and Hare hunting packs across the UK & Ireland, March is when the season comes to an end. Usually at this time of year, their attempts to kill wildlife become desperate. Hunt saboteurs however, despite physical and mental exhaustion, have continued to stop this from happening right until the end. Individual hunts finish the season on different dates, so when one hunt packs up early in the month, the local sabotage groups will join others to target another hunt elsewhere, adding more pressure those final hunt meets. One specific end of season meet to note was of the Cottesmore Hunt who were sabotaged by 5x sizeable groups in solidarity to locals who have had consistent problems with aggressive hunt ‘security’ in recent months. A kill-free day was reported, as well as the arrest of the hunts hired bullies.  

Channel 4 News (UK) gave more negative coverage of hunting this month after they, along with West Midlands Hunt Saboteurs, exposed police corruption following a ‘secret deal’ between Warwickshire Police and the Warwickshire Hunt. Even the National Police Chief’s ‘lead on hunting crime’ officer admitted this is likely due to the hunt being “well connected”. It is important to recognise that this coverage, however, still gave somewhat of a ‘not all cops are bad’ impression and we urge viewers to recognise and consider the problems and limitations of seeing state enforcement (in this case, the hunting act) as a means to wildlife liberation. Not long after it was aired, police had shown their true colours by harassing Sheffield Hunt Saboteurs and displayed their ignorance to hunting legislation and didn’t care about activity of the Grove and Rufford Hunt. In reality, the state views hunt sabotage as a gateway to becoming an ‘animal rights extremist’ and will happily repress anyone who they deem to be. With that being said, this coverage has undoubtably made many in the hunting community nervous and should be welcomed. And rightly so, it won’t be easy to shake off the exposed reality of the relationship between hunting and policing in the UK.

Protests against the hunt were also had, as seen by Suffolk Action for Wildlife. This is not only good for the morale of those who care about wildlife, but can hurt the hunts feelings. If these protests, or fear of protests and negative PR, lead to hunt socials and fundraisers being cancelled by venues then it’ll also hurt their pocket and make them feel unsupported.

Though the Fox and Hare hunting season has finished, other forms of hunting continue. The stag hunting season is set to continue until the end of April, but with other packs of hounds finished for the season, groups in the West and South West of England are doing what they can, as seen unsuccessful days had by the Devon & Somerset Staghounds.

Saboteurs will now also be getting prepared for Mink and Otter hunts, who operate during the spring and summer months.  Any tip-off’s relating to these activities can result in wildlife being saved from being killed, and are welcomed by your local sabotage group who will maintain anonymity. Kind messages and donations are also well appreciated!

Hertfordshire Hunt Saboteurs have been busy with a ‘countryside clean up’, by removing snares and traps. Spring is a busy time for shooting estates and others who want to kill wildlife so it is important to see what can be found locally. The warmer weather makes such an activity a lot more enjoyable and gives people an opportunity to not only appreciate the beauty of this time of year, but also to make a difference in sustaining it.

MARCH DIRECT ACTION SUMMARY

During the month of March we received a total of 15 reports of direct action for animal liberation, including two game farm targets (one in Denmark, one in Greece), the sabotage of a dairy parlour in solidarity with Jack, as well as new entries this year from Argentina, the USA and Malaysia.

Nine of the fifteen reported actions were sabotage, including the cancellation of a circus abusing animals in Italy. The six reported liberations involved the freeing of chickens, dogs and wild animals bred for hunting.



On the events front, we heard about the Animal Liberation Summit in Amsterdam on 11 April.

The Prisoner Support Team has also been very busy this month. We published a short interview with Ladislav, who is still in need of economic support.

We had the pleasure of reading Itamar’s words after she was released from prison, and we heard about a case where a Swedish activist was threatened with prison after exposing a zoophile, luckily the activist avoided the sentence.

Finally, we heard that Jack has been released under house arrest, which is not ideal but much better than prison. Welcome back Jack!

JACK HAS BEEN RELEASED FROM PRISON!

“In a significant development in Jack’s legal battle, on March 29, a judge in Fulton County Court granted him bond! With this decision, Jack will be released from jail in the coming days, reuniting him with his loved ones and community. Fulton County often delays releasing people who have been granted bond, but we will advocate rigorously to ensure his quick release.

The cash bond amount was set for $75,000 and Jack was ordered 24-hour house arrest. There were a number of other conditions set by the judge that restrict Jack’s ability to work, engage in community, or even to meet with his lawyer at his office. 

As Jack prepares to transition back to freedom, continued support remains crucial. Letters of encouragement and books sent to him during his time in incarceration have provided a lifeline, and we encourage supporters to maintain this solidarity.

Additionally, sustained advocacy and legal efforts will continue, with funds raised being allocated towards covering legal fees and the high costs associated with home detention and the inability to work while under house arrest. 

Together, we are committed to ensuring Jack stays free!”

UNOFFENSIVE’S WEBSITE UNDER ATTACK + A FEW OTHER UPDATES!

Hey folks! Just a quick platform update. Last week we removed malware from the website that had sneaked in through an unknown vulnerability in one of our plugins. The malware managed to redirect our site to betting sites, but due to the vulnerability we also found several other uploaded pieces of software that were intended to be used as backdoors and data grabbers. 

Due to the way we handle personal information on our site for anyone grabbing some merch (we basically store no information on the site, ever, once the order has been placed), we are very confident that the hack did not affect personal data in any way.

However, we take the security of the site very seriously and will continue to monitor the health of the site and complete forensics on the malware and other scripts found on the servers.

Due to a massive cleanup of the site’s files, our Patreon and Crypto donation buttons are currently down. This couldn’t come at a worse time, as we have quite a few bills to pay over the next two months to keep the site up and running!
