“Whilst everybody is focused on stuff happening elsewhere in the world, we plan to break into a place of slavery.
The anxiety is high, the night camouflages us between the mud and the dry weeds, we cut the wire and there we are, in front of them, all of them scared and cold, pushed against each other. They look at us fearful, but tonight some are coming out of the cages and will never suffer because of them again, they will stretch their legs and open their wings.
To us, that is veganism. because we cannot keep asking humans to please stop enslaving and murdering our animal siblings, because there is no more time to wait. And we also can’t pretend to care about regulating or welfarising the chains of speciesism.
Everybody can do this, everybody can take in their own hands direct action if they are brave enough.
Why would we wait anymore? Away from victimhood and against all odds, that’s our duty.
Those six lives are now safe, their life will be different, they will live with dignity and freedom.
All the other chickens are suffering the slavery that the system forces upon them by describing them as property and using them until death.
Their eyes see their sisters dying in cages, or being slaughtered. Their liberation is in your hands. Who, if not you?”

“Mientras todxs están pendientes de lo que sucede en otra parte del mundo, nosotrxs planeamos el ingreso a un centro de esclavitud.
La ansiedad en inmensa, la noche nos camufla entre el barro y la hierba seca, se corta el alambre y ya estamos ahí frente a ellas, todas temerosas con frío, acurrucadas y juntas. Nos miran con desconfianza, pero esta noche algunas van a salir de esas jaulas y nunca más volverán a padecerlas, estirarán sus patas y abrirán sus alas.
Para nosotrxs esto es veganismo, porque no podemos seguir pidiendo a lxs seres humanxs que por favor dejen de esclavizar y asesinar a nuestrxs hermanxs animales, ya no hay más tiempo. Así como tampoco, pretender que regulen las cadenas del especismo.
Cualquiera puede hacerlo, cualquiera puede tomar entre sus manos la acción directa si tiene el valor.
Que más vamos a esperar? Lejos del victimismo y contra todo pronóstico es nuestro deber.
Estas 6 vidas ya están a resguardo, les espera una vida diferente, les espera una vida digna en libertad.
Lxs demás animales están en este mundo sufriendo la esclavitud que el sistema les impone, lxs cataloga como mercancías y asi lxs utiliza hasta su muerte.
