SIX TURKEYS ESCAPE RIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS.

“Liberation of 6 turkeys right before Christmas. ( France )

These 6 individuals were sequestrated in a factory farm.

They are now safe and free and will live the rest of their life in a sanctuary, where they will be able to express themselves fully.

Our thoughts go to all the turkeys we were not able to take with us, and all the victims of this “Christmas celebration / consumerism time”

We can all do something, and take action to help them escape from hell

They need all of us, to resist by their side.

Until all are free !”

“OPERATION CUORE LIBERI” : FOUR PIGS LIBERATED

via: 269 Liberation animale

3rd December, europe?

“HIT REPORT OF THE “CUORE LIBERI OPERATION” : FOUR PIGS LIBERATED FROM A FACTORY FARM ON THE NIGHT OF THE THIRD OF DECEMBER [DIRECT ACTION FROM THE 269 LIBÉRATION ANIMALE COLLECTIVE] !

We were shrouded in mist on that night, like a very welcomed protection.

Thieves met up in an improbable place, for the usual briefing ritual, before the action.

So happy to get together, once again, under the moonlight. We hugged and cheared each other up, to give ourselves courage.

Then, around midnight, we sunk into this other half of the world. The one that starts where small country roads end. Behind creepy hangars, where, “others” are nothing more than bodies to kill. Fully trapped by capitalism, except maybe for their screams.

As always, the first team went few minutes ahead towards the massive factory farm.

Pigs were sleeping, snuggling with one another in their holding pens. It was painfully beautiful.

Our truck comes, and, organised in teams of four comrades, we start lifting pigs from the ground, covered in filth.

It’s hard.

We struggle.

We do it again and again, over and over.

We run out of breath while carrying them, as they’re already very heavy.

But eventually, we manage.

Four pigs are in the truck and we fuck off before cops arrive.

A beautiful story of a liberation, that we share, wishing for rage and anger to rise. And to mourn all the liberations that never happened, on that same night.

Politics sits in that gap.

We write to avenge them.

Our vehicles left the country with, at the back, some who will get to live.

While hundreds of ghosts come to tap on our shoulders, every night ever since.

The four pigs were transported to an allied sanctuary where they’re starting up a new life.

We post this report, wanting the practice of direct action to spread and for the flame to burn hotter and brighter in the heart of every comrade who’s reading us.

Suddenly, we come out of traditional paths, of lame protests, to invent something else.

Something that doesn’t depend on adhesion, but on being stronger than what we’re up against.

We have to accept that our struggles have to be offensive, threatening. We have to be in a spirit of conflict, with all hopes and limits this political tactic comes with.

On our long way home, we remembered all the pigs liberated by 269 Animal Liberation since 2016 : this gorgeous bunch of escapees, with Malcolm, Charlotte, Patrick, Serhildan, Sacco, Vanzetti, Sissi, Pino, Pomme, Y., Y., and so many others.

No matter who they are or where they are today, we all belong to the same community, forever bonded.

This action is dedicated to our Italian comrades, from the « Cuore Liberi » sanctuary, who lost 9 pig comrades, murdered by the veterinary police : The State will never be the ally of our struggles for liberation.”

PROTEST OUTSIDE OF MAX MARA IN ATHENS.

We’ve received a reportback from a protest agains Max Mara in Athens.

“Protest outside the MaxMara store #FurFreeFriday

On Saturday, November 25, members of the Open Antispeciesist Assembly in Athens, Greece, held a protest against the fur industry outside the MaxMara store in Kolonaki.

“We chose this specific store, to support a global campaign that has cbeen ongoing since the summer against major fur companies that continue to sell fur from tortured animals. For almost an hour, we managed to blockc the entrance of the store with banners and disrupt the smooth flow of goods and customers on a Saturday morning. In this context, flyers were distributed to passersby and slogans were chanted.

NO ANIMAL IS A COMMODITY – NO MORE BLOOD FOR THEIR PROFITS

BOYCOTT EVERY COMPANY THAT TORTURES AND MURDERS ANIMALS FOR PROFITS

TOTAL STRUGGLE AGAINST THE STATE AND EVERY FORM OF AUTHORITY”

ANONYMOUS PEOPLE RELEASE A FOX AND DESTROY THE TRAP.

December, England

Received anonymously via email:

“Inspired by other actions we’d seen reported we ventured out to explore a turkey farm. Already worried it was too late our concerns were confirmed when we checked what was now empty barns. Heartbroken by what that meant, we stood in silence for a moment and suddenly became aware of a desperate thrashing sound. On the outside of one of the barns we found a cold, muddy and terrified young fox caught in a cage.

They were so afraid that when we opened the cage we had to push them out and it took a few steps for them to realise their regained freedom. Naturally we decided to remove and destroy the deathtrap that had imprisoned them. Despite the cage being so massive that it could easily fit a human, we bashed it to an unusable state. We wish we could also of helped some turkeys, whose lifeless bodies are now strung up across the world for the holidays, but we are happy to have at least saved a fox a bullet.”

SOME AMAZING NEWS TO CELEBRATE: ERIC KING IS FINALLY FREE!

Eric was handed a ten year sentence for his involvement in a cop shop arson in support of the Ferguson upraising. Last week, he was released to a half way house.

Through his incarceration he has been the target of Neo nazis but also has suffered in the hands of the screws, who attempted to frame him for an attack to add another 20 years to his sentence. He has been tortured, beaten and left tied and naked in the SHU. In 2022, he managed to come out victorious in the frame-up trial.

He has recently published “Rattling the Cages: Oral Histories of North American Political Prisoners”, with profits going to the ABC as well as his own support network.

We couldn’t be happier to hear about Eric’s release. He has shown incredible resilience whilst incarcerated and deserves nothing but support and love. We can only imagine how happy his support network and wife must feel seeing him out from behind bars and away from a plot of fascist screws out to get him.

From Unoffensive Animal, and with our deepest love and solidarity; welcome back Eric!!!!!

PS: Coming out of prison is still a difficult time. Please, donate to his release fund so he can find his feet after a long prison sentence!

THE ANIMAL LIBERATION FRONT RELEASES 500 PHEASANTS FROM A GAME FARM.

25th November, Massachusetts USA.

Received anonymously:

“On November 25th, the evening immediately following the Thanksgiving horror-day, 10 sections of fencing were cut and ripped away at the Fullflight Game Farm in Bernardston, Massachusetts. Edwin Gray’s disgusting business purpose breeds pheasants and other wild birds to be sold for blood sports. As a result, they are untamed and perfectly capable of surviving in the wild. Since the action took place early in the night, it can be assumed that many of the thousands of birds held captive at the facility found their way to freedom, and the economic damage from destroying over 100 feet of fencing is undeniable.

This liberation had less than a day’s worth of planning and used only simple tools. Even in the light of a blinking red security box, with a house mere yards away, the work continued undeterred. It’s up to us to free them from their prisons so that they may run, swim and fly free. Liberate!

ANONYMOUS FOLK STEAL SEVENTEEN CHICKENS FROM A CITY FARM.

Early November, Birmingham UK.

According to national press, Balsall Heath City Farm in Birmingham was the target of a theft where seventeen chickens were stolen. The farm works as a “farm animal zoo” within the city.

the ‘stolen’ hens.

This is not the first time the farm has been targeted. During December 2022, the farm was raided four times, where multiple rabbits, guinea pigs and turkeys were taken away.

They say they do not know why anyone would steal the animals and that they are preparing to build a ‘chicken fortress’ that ‘can’t be broken into’.
