According to local media, unknown people cut a hole in the fence holding deer in a game farm. Twenty deer broke free, most of them fallow deer but also some roe deer. The farmer, who raises the deer to shoot them, says that the damages amounted to 400 EUR. The police confirmed they had no suspects.

[On the night of 25-26 March, a building went up in flames in the east of Halle-sur-Saale, a town about twenty kilometres from Leipzig in the region of Saxony-Anhalt. Only this grey suburban building was no ordinary building: it housed a martial arts gym called “Gladiator Fight Academy”, which the local neo-Nazis were about to open next April. All the equipment in the hall went up in flames, with damage estimated by the police at 250,000 euros. Below is the translation from the Indymedia report].
“In Halle, attempts are repeatedly being made to establish or strengthen a right-wing extremist scene. This is also the case with the planned opening of the “Gladiator Fight Academy” martial arts centre.

You see these small metal boxes everywhere in Denmark. They are rat traps. Most of them contain anticoagulants. They cause rats and mice to slowly die from internal bleeding. Remove these evil devices wherever you see them.
The activists also left messages such as “Let the rats live” and “remove rat traps”.
Everyone has the right to life and freedom. The fact that humans consider some other beings as “pests” does not justify murder.”

“With the moon as our accomplice and determined to take part in a prison break we approached a barn and pulled our tools out. After cutting through the mesh, forcing a window open and climbing through a hole in the wall, tens of thousands of ducklings greeted us with high pitched sounds.
They must’ve been three, maybe four days old. Many, perhaps the lucky ones, were already dead on the floor. We gently caught forty birds and put them in carriers, ready for a better life, destined to breaking free. We wrote a message on the wall so that the scum that profits from the torture and murder of ducks is aware that some people are willing to fight back. “One more”, someone said, so forty-one came with us and we walked away having made dozens of new friends.

“As the nation celebrated Easter with a bloodbath of violence, roasting and tearing up the bodies of millions of innocent lambs, we fought back and saved the lives of five tiny lambs.
Having checked out the spot already, we crept in the shadows past a farmhouse where the scumbag farmers were watching TV and we entered a massive shed where mothers and babies were penned up. The noises were overwhelming as mothers gave birth and lambs cried out but we knew that these lambs only had weeks or months left to live and we had to act now.
We scooped up five lambs, reassuring the mothers that we were there to help their babies and we would ensure they lived long, joyful lives. We hope that they understood, despite our clear language barriers, and that we were saving them from a short life of misery and pain.
These five lambs will never have to experience the torment of a slaughterhouse. They will never have their bodies torn apart for profits. They will never be exploited ever again.
This action is in solidarity with all of those who lost their lives this Easter, a fucked up celebration of life that results in the murder of so many. We need this to inspire as many people to take action as possible. If not now, then when? If not you, then who?”
