URGENT CALL OF SUPPORT FOR HAMBACHER FORST!

Hambi has survived for a decade, but it is in danger. Back in September 2024 some people occupied Sündi, a once upon a time part of Hambi which now stands in isolation in between the largest coal mine in Europe and the remnants of Manheim village. RWE claims they need to dig the ‘Mannheim Bay’ in order to collect overburden material to stabilise other parts of the hole, but in reality they just want to dig more, and more and more until their time runs out. 

 Folks in Hambi fear that any day after the 6th of January might be eviction day, and that both Sündi and the main forest occupation in Hambacher Forst will be evicted, so they are asking for immediate support.

“The industrial monster is at the door! The biggest pit in Europe – the Hambach Mine – is getting bigger day by day. A precious woodland we call “the Sündi” (once part of the Hambacher Forest) stands directly in its path, right next to the ruins of the former village of Manheim (which coal-giant RWE has also been laying to waste).

Since September the Sündi has been squatted! Where a world-eating coalmine was scheduled to expand, an autonomous zone has sprung up in its place, blocking the expansion of the pit and the system of death it powers. But now we have the news that the state will attempt an eviction, possibly as soon as January 6.

We are calling on all who hear this call to come to the Sündi NOW!!! Or to join us in the still squatted Hambacher Forest, which lies right next door, and will possibly get invaded by the cops at the same time. Tell your friends, grab a tent, and join us in either of these places if you can! Or make solidarity actions where you are!

Love and rage to the comrades evicted from the Dieti and Grüneheide forest occupations! Now the state makes its move against Sündi – don’t let it be three evictions in these months! Let’s make this eviction attempt a nightmare for the state!!!

CARA AND CELESTE’S TEE FUNDRAISER

Just a quick update for you all! We were planning on sending all tshirts to everybody tht pre-ordered by the end of december, but unfortunately with christmas and new years dates we are yet to receive the garments in order to post them to you!

We will be receiving the tshirts this week and start posting all orders then, so bare with us, we will get them all sorted and they will arrive to you soon!

We are also aware that we’ve not published the amount raised for C&C yet. This is because we do not know until we calculate the postage costs, which will only be available once we’ve parcelled all your orders. All going well we will be able to release the final number (and send it to the fundraiser!) next week. Sorry it’s taken us a little longer than expected, but we will come through with full transparency!

Thank you for your patience with this. We would’ve loved to send the tees a lot earlier, but that’s life sometimes!

DOZENS OF CAGES FOR DECOY BIRDS DESTROYED BY THE ALF.

GUINEA PIGS LIBERATED IN SOLIDARITY WITH DANIEL SAN DIEGO.

“After some digging we found a large scale breeder of guinea pigs and paid them a visit to check out their operations.

It wasn’t pretty and we were faced with the all too familiar sight of filthy over crowded areas. The dirty behind the scenes of the pet industry.

Not long after arriving we saw a worker walking around so we quickly placed eight guinea pigs into our carriers and absconded before being seen. We could only take as many as we had good homes for and while this means all the world to them it is just a drop in the ocean. You can not comprehend the number of victims involved. These breeders and sellers must be stopped. They will use their bodies like machines and dispose of them once they fall apart enough to no longer be profitable. The daily reality of the animals trapped in these places is a nightmare, especially those who will be used for breeding relentlessly till their body can’t take anymore. The battered parents of the animals you’ll see displayed at your local pet shop.

Endless solidarity to all our comrades behind bars and directly to Daniel Andreas San Diego. Your oppressors are our mutual enemies, be it breeders, vivisectors, farmers or the state. Fuck all cages and the people who make them.

CENTRAL PARK ZOO VANDALISED.

“I decided to pay a visit to central park animal prison. Thousands of people spend time in this park every day going about their daily lives meanwhile these animals are destined for a lifetime behind bars, away from their natural environments where they are free to roam and live as they are supposed to. I redecorated the signs for accuracy and poured red paint all over the entrance to represent the many deaths lost to this disgusting place after a life in prison. Two coyotes a raccoon and a rat crossed paths with me on my way out eager to see action taken on behalf of animals.  Fuck all prisons. Abolishing them doesn’t stop at only the ones that have human animals inside.”
