‘ “Zoom”, the zoo settled in Torino: an open-air prison.

In the past days we affixed many posters reminiscent of those with which Zoom filled the city, to sanction it and made people aware. Zoom tries to sell people the idea that they’re better than other zoos, using words like “animals well-being” and saying they respect nonhuman animals’ ecology. We know that many of the species detained are not endangered, and even if they all were it still sells tickets to let people watch nonhuman animals in a voyeuristic way that is stressful and objectifying. Zoom is, actually, another place of enslavement and exploitation of nonhuman animals, just like every other zoo.

Fuck all zoos, support animal sanctuaries.

“This global company was targeted for their manufacture and supply of animal abusing/exploiting/killing machinery.

This was my first action so unfortunately adrenaline got the better of me and I ended up making a spelling mistake, still I think they got the message, a lock was also glued up. “

“NatureScot were visited once more in the middle of the night, as a consequence for their continuous involvement in the issuing of licenses for the killing of hundreds of very young birds every year.

Their building was damaged with paint again, and this time their windows shattered. Activists were cut short by a new security officer (there had been no security before) inside the building coming out. This demonstrates the lengths that NatureScot will go to in hopes of protecting their building. They could just as easily divert such effort to the ending of the Guga murder licenses.

We won’t stop working for an end to the Guga hunt.”
