PRACTICE SOLIDARITY, WRITE A LETTER TO A PRISONER

A great way to practice solidarity is to write a letter to a prisoner! If you are looking for prisoners to write to, check out the “Prisoner Support” tab on our website, where you will find a list of prisoners you can write to.

If this is your first time writing to a prisoner, there may be a few things to think about, to get you started. Like, keep it simple! It is okay to write basic things about yourself and your daily life. Let the prisoner get to know you. Also, don’t write anything that could get the prisoner into trouble. And check the specific prison if they have rules about writing to prisoners.

We are stronger when we stick together and take care of each other. Reach out to a prisoner today, practice solidarity!

SOLIDARITY FOREVER

MARCH DIRECT ACTION ROUND UP.

March was a busy month around the world for direct action for animal liberation. A total of twelve anonymous reports were reported, coming from nine different countries (plus a report from an unknown country in Europe). Reports were also a lot more varied than normal. Whilst a big number were related to either hunting or flesh/animal consumption, there were reports against the pet industry, against the fur trade and against circuses too.

By country, these are the numbers of received reports during March:

POLAND: 2

SWEDEN: 1

ITALY: 2

FINLAND: 1

DENMARK: 1

GREECE: 1

AUSTRALIA: 1

GERMANY: 1

USA: 1

UNKNOWN (EUROPE): 1

On the prisoner support we also heard good news during March. After years locked up, Leonard Peltier was finally released home. Sindre also was released in Sweden.

We also received an anonymous reportback from a fash march in UK, a solidarity photo from hambi and we published a guide on how to safely submit reports.

As always, keep fighting!
